1. Who we are
These terms govern use of the Plaza Laundromat premises at 4815 E Main St Unit 18, Mesa, Arizona 85205, our services, and this website at mesaplazalaundromat.com. Contact us at (480) 531-3048 or through the contact form.
By using our facilities, our services, or this website, you agree to these terms.
2. Self-service laundry
Machines are provided for customer use during posted lobby hours. You are responsible for selecting appropriate machines and settings for your items.
Do not place comforters, rugs, or other heavy items in top load washers. Signage is posted on the machines. Damage caused by misuse of equipment may be charged to the customer.
An attendant is on site during posted attended hours only. Outside those hours the facility is unattended self-service.
Plaza Laundromat is not responsible for items left unattended on the premises. Please do not leave laundry in machines or on counters.
3. Drop-off wash dry fold
Drop-off service is accepted during posted attended hours only. Items are weighed at intake and priced per pound at the posted rate. Payment is due on collection.
You are responsible for removing personal items from pockets before drop-off. We are not liable for damage caused by items left in clothing, including but not limited to pens, cosmetics, and electronic devices.
Items marked dry clean only are not accepted. If such items are found we will set them aside rather than process them.
Please inform the attendant at intake of any special handling instructions. We cannot follow instructions we were not given.
Uncollected items are held for a reasonable period, after which we may dispose of them. Please collect promptly.
4. Commercial accounts
Commercial services, including pickup and delivery, are provided under account terms agreed separately with each business customer, including pricing, schedule, and scope.
Pickup and delivery is available to commercial accounts only and is not offered to residential customers.
We do not accept contaminated laundry requiring handling under the OSHA bloodborne pathogens standard, nor any laundry requiring a certified healthcare laundry process. Commercial customers are responsible for correctly classifying their laundry before sending it.
Commercial customers remain responsible for their own regulatory compliance, including any applicable licensing, health, or infection control requirements.
5. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage to items in our care is limited to the lesser of the item's actual cash value or a reasonable per-item maximum, as posted at the counter.
We are not liable for: normal wear from laundering, colour loss or bleeding, shrinkage, damage resulting from undisclosed fabric or care requirements, pre-existing damage, or stains that cannot be removed without damaging the item.
Some staining is permanent. Hair colour, certain oils, and set-in dye may not be removable. We will tell you when we believe this is the case.
Claims must be raised within a reasonable period of collection and before items have been used or laundered again.
6. Payment
Self-service machines are coin operated. A bill changer is available on site. Drop-off service is payable on collection. Commercial accounts are invoiced per the agreed account terms.
7. Conduct on the premises
We reserve the right to refuse service and to ask anyone to leave for behaviour that is unsafe, abusive toward staff or customers, or damaging to property.
Children on the premises must be supervised at all times. Laundry equipment is not safe for unsupervised children.
8. This website
Content on this website is provided for information only. Prices, hours, and services shown are subject to change. The posted information at our premises governs where there is any discrepancy.
Website content and design are the property of Plaza Laundromat or licensed to it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the date shown above.
